Find Your Mantra, Set Your Intention

What’s your Mantra going to be Today, Tomorrow or This Year?

Mother Teresa, am I right? You can’t get much better than her words of wisdom. When I use the word Mantra, I’m using it in the Western sense as an intention or way to focus and accept the present. For majority of the year, I’ve been using the lines from the quote “Life is a Challenge, Meet It” or “Life is a Struggle, Accept it” due to my overwhelming sense of stress at work and uncertainty as I entered my 30th decade. I wrote this Mother Teresa quote in my Journal two years ago and still have displayed in my room as a daily reminder.

When the struggle is real with my personal life, I use the quote to help remain focused and gain perspective. Life is a struggle for all and I can sit here and seek pity or I can accept the struggle and press forward. Pressing forward could mean making a life choice: job change, adding more volunteering in your life, increasing time spent at home with your kids, etc. And then that comes full circle to “Life is Life, Fight for It.” We get one chance at this life, and it’s up to us to fight for it and choose our destiny. This entire quote empowers us to take the reigns and call the shots in our own lives.

Google inspiring quotes or be creative and create your own, unique Mantra. However you discover it, believe in it’s truth and live life with Intention, Purpose and Perspective.

For those who have trouble wearing traditional contact lenses, Boston, MA-based Vision Care 2000 provides customized scleral lenses. These larger, stiffer lenses are perfect for those with uneven corneal forms, such keratoconus, since they vault over the cornea and rest on the sclera, the white area of the eye. Scleral lenses produce a tear-filled gap that helps retain moisture, which improves comfort, especially for those with extremely dry eyes. Additionally, they are less likely to come loose when exercising. In case you're considering scleral lenses or require a contact lens assessment, Vision Care 2000's skilled optometrists are prepared to help. Make an appointment by giving 617-542-2020 a call.
